ARC 350Z

The ARC 350Z is a 2006 NIssan with the intent to go sideways. We as car people chase after that adrenalin and theres no better way to start drifting then building a car with your friends and enjoying the track for what it’s made for. Our main goal is to make an easy to get in and easy to handle drift car that you’ll feel just right in. The more days that pass by allows us to come up with 5 different phases for the 350Z with the intent of learning.

Suspension: BC coilovers

Bc coilovers helps stiffen the chassis while also giving you more feeling of the road. This will allow the driver to feel where the car is in a drift and gives the ability to still have confidence.

Differential: welded diff, bushings, and brace

The main difference between a road car and a drift car is the differential. Standard OEM vehicles come with a limited slip diff. This allows the outer wheel to have have more torque in a turn so its more smooth. When drifting you want all drive wheels torque to be equal for more traction in a drift. Bushings and a brace will help the differential stay in the same place while load is applied to give it more rigidity.

Exhaust: Custom welded Exhaust (strait Piped)

An exhaust system is used to get more out of your engine in sound and performance. Strait piping your car supplies a better vacuum for your engine while allowing max exhaust flow. Drifting is very loud and being able to hear the engine is the most important. They allow a better understanding of the car and a better understanding for which gear you need to be in to start and execute a drift.

Intake: K&N Air Filter

Intakes are used to allow clean air to enter the engine in order to make more power. Most people would just spend the $350 for a whole intake in order to increase airflow. The K&N filter is an easy filter change from the stock OEM filter to the new one. While also being able to save a lot of money the filter, it adds 15% more airflow (the same as a cold air intake).

Roll cage and Harnesses: Custom welded cage.

When drifting, safety is the most important mainly due to the risk of hitting walls or even other cars. In case anything happens the cage will add another layer of steel to protect the driver and passenger. Harnesses allow the driver and passenger to be locked in their seat incase of a roll over or even an accident.

Tuning: Joetech

Tuning helps a car run more efficiently while also making more power. We wanted to build a fun car thats still easy to drive right when you get in it. That’s why we decided to keep the car naturally aspirated. The tune will help the car run a whole lot smoother while having the exhaust and intake filter installed.

What’s Left To Do

Body Kit: KBD Widebody Kit

A body kit can do a few things for your car. Fiberglass will add weight to your vehicle but also adds a different style and look. Due to this vehicle being a drift car we need more traction in the turns. A widebody kit allows you to throw thicker tires and wheels on for max traction while also making the car look a lot more ascetically pretty.

Seats: Racing Bucket Seats

Seats are what hold you in while driving and are a big saftey feature. When drifting you don’t want to have your body thrown around, it’ll reduce the amount of handling. Durable and nicely bolstered seats are perfect for drifting. These seats will keep you exaclty where the driver needs to be to have the most handling and also feel comfortable while driving.

Wheels: Enkei RS05RR

The 350Z will have (Enkei RS05RR), these wheels are light weight and very very strong. When drifting expect to scratch up the car and wheels. Stronger and lighter weight wheels helps with handling and also allows you to drive and drift all day without running into any major issues.

Angle Kit

Angle kits are also very important, they allow the driver to have a much better turning angle but also allows a whole bunch of adjustments. When drifting a great suspension and under car is key. These help the car handle better and set up exactly how the driver needs.

Main Goal

Our main goal is to get out there and really enjoy the car culture in its entirety. Drifting is one of those hobbies that helps you focus and fully understand a car for what it is and what it’s true capability is. The ARC 350Z will have the same design as the 350Z from Tokyo Drift (the Fairlady). we’d love to go out to a whole bunch of tracks with Fortune Wraps and really spread the word of our company.
